Using The Industrial Base

These terms govern use of The Industrial Base, operated by Jeremy. The service provides industrial company discovery and editorial information. By using it, you agree to these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Contact hi@theindustrialbase.com with questions.
A directory for professional discovery
Company information is a starting point for your own evaluation. We do not sell the listed suppliers’ products or act as a party to transactions between you and a listed company. Confirm technical suitability, authorization, availability, compliance, pricing and commercial terms directly with the relevant business.
Inclusion, a category, a brand relationship or a representative claim does not constitute our endorsement, certification or guarantee. Records may be incomplete or become outdated. Resources articles are general information rather than project-specific engineering, legal or procurement advice.
Accounts and authority
Provide accurate information when creating an account or submitting a request. Keep control of your sign-in email and codes, and notify us if you believe your account has been misused. You must have authority to provide the business and third-party information you submit.
An email-verified account is not proof of ownership of a company. Representative access requires a separate review and may be refused or revoked. You may not impersonate another person or business, bypass access restrictions or use another account’s information without permission.
Submissions and editorial control
When submitting material, you confirm that you have the necessary rights to provide it and that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge. You grant us permission to review, store, edit, format and publish that material as reasonably needed to operate and promote the directory, subject to our Privacy policy and any separate agreement.
We may request evidence, correct or decline information, combine duplicate records and suspend or remove material. A submission does not guarantee publication, representative access or a particular placement. Saving a private draft does not change the public record. Our Editorial policy explains these processes.
Acceptable use
- Do not submit misleading claims, unlawful material, confidential information without authority, malicious code or content that infringes another person’s rights.
- Do not interfere with the service, evade security or rate limits, send spam or attempt to access private applications or accounts.
- Do not use automated extraction or republish substantial parts of the directory in a way that infringes applicable rights, misrepresents our records or imposes an unreasonable load. Contact us if you need a data-use arrangement.
Fees and commercial arrangements
Basic company submissions are free. Creating an account or submitting a request does not automatically create a paid subscription. Any enhanced profile, promotional placement or other paid service will have its scope, price and applicable terms communicated separately before purchase.
We do not guarantee search rankings, enquiries, sales or other commercial outcomes. A separate paid arrangement does not remove the need for factual review or grant a right to publish inaccurate material.
Content and third-party rights
Our original editorial content, presentation and branding are protected by applicable rights. Company names, brand names, trademarks and third-party material remain the property of their respective owners. Factual business information and material available from official sources are not represented as our exclusive property.
You may use the directory for legitimate company discovery and link to public profiles. Other reuse must respect applicable intellectual property and database rights and any permission or licence you obtain. External websites are governed by their own terms and privacy practices.
Availability and responsibility
We work to maintain a useful service, but do not promise uninterrupted availability or that every record is complete, current or suitable for your intended use. We may change features, limit access for security or maintenance, and suspend accounts or content where reasonably necessary to address misuse or other concerns.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available and we do not accept responsibility for indirect losses arising from reliance on directory information or dealings with third parties. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory rights that apply to you.
Ending use, changes and contact
You may stop using the service and request account closure by email. We may retain information where needed for legitimate operational, security or legal purposes, as described in the Privacy policy. Ending an account does not necessarily remove independently researched factual company records.
We may update these terms as the service changes. The date above identifies the current version, and material changes will be communicated where required. Any separate written commercial agreement applies to the services it covers. Applicable mandatory law continues to apply; these terms do not select an exclusive national court or governing law.
